Structured Learning Time

At Nashik Cambridge School, we follow a well-structured daily routine designed to optimize learning and development.

Our school day is carefully planned to include academic instruction, physical activity, creative expression, and social interaction. This balanced approach ensures that students develop holistically and discover their unique strengths and passions.

The daily routine varies slightly for different grade levels to accommodate age-appropriate learning activities and attention spans. Below, you will find the general schedule for both primary and secondary sections.

Classes I to V

Daily schedule for primary section students from Monday to Friday.

10:00 - 10:20 AM Short Break Refreshment and restroom break
10:20 - 11:00 AM Period 4 Academic Class (Main Subjects)
11:00 - 11:40 AM Period 5 Academic Class (Main Subjects)
11:40 - 12:20 PM Period 6 Activity Class (Art/Music/Library)
12:20 - 1:00 PM Lunch Break Lunch and recreational activities
1:00 - 1:40 PM Period 7 Academic Class or Games/Physical Education
1:40 - 2:20 PM Period 8 Academic Class or Computers/Value Education
2:20 - 2:30 PM Dispersal Preparation for departure, announcements
  • Each period is 40 minutes in duration.
  • Subject allocation varies by day of the week.
  • Students have specialty classes (Art, Music, Computer, PE) twice a week.
Secondary Section

Classes VI to XII

Daily schedule for secondary section students from Monday to Friday.

  • Each period is 40 minutes in duration.
  • Classes IX to XII have additional laboratory periods for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Extended activities are optional and vary by day of the week.
  • Board examination preparation sessions are held after regular school hours for Classes X and XII.
Weekend Schedule

Saturday Activities

Special schedule for Saturdays focusing on co-curricular activities.

Club Activities

Students participate in various clubs such as Science Club, Literary Club, Eco Club, Robotics Club, etc. based on their interests.

9:45 - 11:15 AM

Sports & Games

Dedicated time for sports training, inter-house competitions, and physical fitness activities under the guidance of specialized coaches.

11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Performing Arts

Classes for music, dance, drama, and other performing arts. Students can develop their talents and prepare for various cultural events.

Note: Every second and fourth Saturday of the month is a holiday unless otherwise notified. On working Saturdays, students are not required to wear the regular uniform and can come in appropriate casual attire.

Special Schedules

Examination & Event Days

Modified routines during examination periods and special events.

Examination Days

During examination periods, the school follows a modified schedule:

  • 8:00 - 8:15 AM: Assembly
  • 8:15 - 10:15 AM: Examination
  • 10:15 - 10:35 AM: Break
  • 10:35 - 12:35 PM: Study Period/Regular Classes
  • 12:35 PM: Dispersal

For Classes IX to XII, there may be additional time allotted for certain examinations, and dispersal times may vary accordingly.

Event Days

During special events such as Annual Day, Sports Day, Cultural Festivals, etc., the following schedule is typically followed:

  • 8:00 - 8:30 AM: Assembly and Announcements
  • 8:30 - 10:30 AM: Regular Classes (Shortened periods of 30 minutes each)
  • 10:30 - 10:50 AM: Break
  • 10:50 AM - 1:00 PM: Event Preparations/Rehearsals
  • 1:00 PM: Dispersal or as per event schedule

Specific timings for major events are communicated through circulars and the school's official communication channels.
